Teachers in Calgary, Edmonton and across Alberta can explore a pathway from flight control and block-based coding to positioning and collaborative drone-show projects.
Support for teachers
You do not need to be a drone expert. Typical teacher training takes approximately three hours and covers safety, basic operation, coding, classroom activities and troubleshooting.
Recommended for Grades 7–12, with introductory activities adaptable for younger learners. Foundation learning is approximately 10 hours; Advanced adds approximately 10 hours of networking, swarm flight and teamwork.

Our team has been delivering drone education programmes since 2018. HULA was introduced into our school programmes in Hong Kong in 2022. Since then, we have continued developing teaching materials, classroom activities and progressive learning programmes around drone technology.
